Today was a smashing winter´s day in Stockholm, with bright sunshine and just below 0°C. No snow yet, but we´ll get there. Four of the Stockholm sketchers gathered and spent a few lovely hours drawing near City hall. I don´t know how I managed to NOT fit in the three crowns on top of the tower here, they are such a strong symbol of the city, and leaving them out is such an epic fail. I´ll do better next time. Promise. 🙂
When our fingers got completely frozen, we went on to Kungsholms kyrka (Kungsholm´s church) nearby, and sketched inside for an hour – then headed for coffee. I didn´t think I was going to find the time to make one more drawing before Christmas, so this whole day was a fabulous bonus.
Merry Christmas to everyone who follows this blog! I hope you will have a wonderful holiday, not too far away from your sketchbooks and pens. 🙂
