One last Stockholm painting for now. This one is based on this sketch that I did last July (below). I decided from the beginning that I would use a limited but somewhat crazy color scheme for it, and tried a lot of combinations before deciding on this yellow-orange-pink-red. Working with the ‘wrong’ colours is really fun to do, and a good exercise in concentrating on values.
