The beginning of trouble

Our street is about to become a building site. More apartment buildings are coming up, and since the street is narrow and already crowded, we are not exactly looking forward to a few years of noise, dust and heavy traffic. For a while now we have been waiting for this whole racket to start, but nothing has happened so far. We figure they might as well get on with it, since a delayed beginning also means a delayed finish.

Today a huge truck suddenly turned up and unloaded some fence material, and then everything was still again. I got the feeling this is probably the calm before the storm, so I headed out to try to capture this sunny corner before it all breaks loose.
