I have been trying to make sense of the ceiling in Sagrada Família today, this is the one-page drawing, I have a spread too. I think it is this kind of thing that risks leading a human being into madness. This is so cleverly designed, and so intricate, and so systematic, but trying to draw it freehand blows a few fuses.
Still, the satisfaction when it almost works at the end is fantastic. : )
