Hornstulls Strand

Stockholm is intensely enjoying the last (?) days of summer, and it seems like people are taking every chance they can to wear shorts and sit at a sidewalk café table to enjoy the sun. Everybody knows these days will soon be gone and chilly autumn winds will chase us all indoors.

Luckily, I finished this drawing at Hornstulls Strand and went over to the old Rio cinema café to grab a cappuccino, just before the Stockholm Half Marathon runners started passing by here. After that, it was impossible to cross the street.

27 x 21,5 cm, Namiki Falcon with Platinum Carbon ink and Lamy Safari with diluted Noodler´s Lexington gray ink and watercolours, in Stillman & Birn Alpha Series sketchbook.
